The Guardian™ 4 transmitter is a small, wireless device (MMT-7841) that attaches to a Guardian™ 4 sensor, which is inserted just under the skin in the back of the upper arm. It acts as a portable, electrical current meter that processes, stores, and wirelessly transmits real-time glucose data every five minutes to a compatible device, such as the Medtronic MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump or a smartphone app (CareLink platform).
